Inspired by the title of the cult film starring Brad Pitt, the eponymous project was launched in 2017. Under the name Fight Club, the company network unites the know-how of five experienced digital agencies from the DACH region. The goal is to implement joint solutions in the area of TYPO3, open source software and Magento.

In keeping with the Fight Club's number one rule "You don`t talk about Fight Club", the working title for the joint and still secret company network was created in 2017. The idea of the initiator Boris Hinzer, CEO of web-vision GmbH from Mönchengladbach, was to unite the competence and experience of different agencies within a network and to convince with actions instead of marketing.

After overcoming the challenge of creating a network that does not jeopardize the independence of the existing companies, the agencies became active together for the first time in 2018, with two projects from tenders they won. In order to continue to do so, the FGTCLB GmbH was founded in Düsseldorf on November 22, 2019, retaining the name originally chosen only as a working title.

Together, the core members, consisting of eCentral GmbH based in Marburg, KM2 netz:innovationen GmbH from Düsseldorf, Pagemachine AG based in Frankfurt, snowflake productions Gmbh based in Zurich and web-vision GmbH from Mönchengladbach, provide over 100 specialists and developers who mainly implement in the open source area with TYPO3, Magento and individual developments.

The list of projects already realized together has grown significantly since 2018 and shows a focus on eCommerce as well as the implementation of developments for universities and public institutions. The aim of Fightclub is to offer all the services that clients of a fullstack agency in the digital field need to drive digital transformation and generate added value. These include: UI/UX, design, SEO/SMM/SEM, hosting, development and consulting.
