Hyvä Theme now Open Source!

The Hyvä Theme frontend framework is not only celebrating five successful years, but is now taking the big step: from November 10, 2025, it will be fully available under open licenses (OSL3 + AFL3) - meaning it can be used free of charge.

This will make access easier for developers, agencies and retailers in the Magento/Adobe Commerce environment: the focus is on in-house development, customization and expansion. Companion modules will also be released. At the same time, special products such as Hyvä Checkout and Hyvä Enterprise remain proprietary, but there is no license requirement for the theme.

For you as a web-vision customer, this means that we will be able to use Hyvä Theme in future without license costs, start faster and adapt it more flexibly. An exciting development - we will be happy to assist you with the implementation and show you how you can benefit from it.
