Focus on optimized performance for Magento

The Hyvä development team's primary goal for 2025 is to further develop and improve the e-commerce experience.

They are particularly focused on making content management more user-friendly for customers and enabling Magento developers to program more flexibly and easily.

Goals for Hyvä 2025: Improving the Magento experience

Hyvä Theme

Based on the Hyvä theme roadmap, the company will focus on improving security over the next 1-3 months . By implementing a strict Content Security Policy (CSP), customers and store owners will be protected against data theft and possible hacker attacks in the future. In addition, customers will be able to switch to external payment providers without having to worry about their data, as the "Content Security Policy" (CSP) will be configured in such a way that the permitted forwarding must not jeopardize the security of customer data.

Over the next 3-6 months, the development team will focus on customizing the online shopping cart to provide multiple visually appealing designs for an enhanced shopping experience.

After the sixth month have passed, the main priority will switch to the improvement of their tracking mechanisms, as these can significantly slow down a website if they are outdated.

Hyvä Checkout

Over the next 1-3 months, Hyvä's development team will focus on a revised checkout design that will make the purchasing process easier, faster and more inclusive for customers. In addition, the implementation of a strict Content Security Policy (CSP) will increase security for customers during the checkout process.

Over the next 3-6 months, the Hyvä team will work on improving the handling of address data by automatically and securely storing delivery addresses in the user account. After the next six months, Hyvä will be looking at four different ways to improve the checkout. Among other things, they want to give their customers the option of displaying user-defined information in more detail and adding it to the checkout in order to best meet their customers' needs. In the future, they will also offer customers the option to register or log in during the checkout process without having to cancel the process.

In addition, they plan to allow future customers to use the Hyvä Checkout without having to use the Hyvä theme, allowing users to use their own theme and integrating the Hyvä Checkout into the custom design. The latest major update, offers the ability to conveniently and securely store customers' payment details with the Vault feature, ensuring a fast payment process for the customer. The planned features are designed to make the customer's shopping experience not only more convenient but also faster and more secure.

Hyvä Enterprise

Over the next 1-3 months, the Hyvä Enterprise development team will focus, among other things, on implementing a new B2B (Business to Business) Negotiable Quotes feature that will allow companies to negotiate prices for Hyvä's various products individually in the future. To make this feature even easier for companies to use, the Hyvä development team will introduce a new template for negotiable quotes. In addition, the team is working on the compatibility of wish lists with the Hyvä theme and the Hyvä checkout, which will enable future customers to use and manage their wish lists more easily at checkout.

Over the next 3-6 months, the Hyvä team will be working on compatibility for the Hyvä theme with both Adobe Commerce and B2B data services. The team's future priorities include the integration of customized customer data, such as company names.

In addition, after the next 6 months, the team wants to make Adobe Commerce fully compatible so that it can be used by companies without restrictions. The last planned change, regarding Hyvä Enterprises, is the usability of all B2B features during the Hyvä checkout process to make it easier for corporate customers to both order and complete the purchase.

Hyvä Commerce - Hyvä's 2025 Roadmap

What can store operators expect?

The commerce roadmap created by Hyvä focuses on the needs of retailers and easy-to-use tools. These are specifically designed to be understandable and easy to use for customers, even if they have no prior knowledge of programming. Hyvä wants to improve what is most important to the customer. The new Hyvä CMS (Content Management System) is an intuitively designed alternative to the already established Magento PageBuilder, which allows the customer to create content far more flexibly and quickly than was previously possible, even without any prior knowledge. The use of reusable components to build a website makes it easier for the store operator to get a confident start in building their own website.

Admin Dashboard

The updated admin panel will allow users to customize their dashboards with personalized widgets on topics such as "Sales" and "Marketing" more extensively than before, with a new feature that allows users to integrate third-party tools as their own widgets. Administrators are also given the option of defining different views based on the "role assignments" of the various users. It will also be possible to save different layout versions and switch between them.

Media optimization

The revised handling of images and videos in the future should enable every store operator to automatically optimize all images in the CMS (Content Management System). In addition, the use of several external storage options such as CDN (Content Delivery Networks) and Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) should ensure that data can be both saved and loaded more quickly. An automatically generated log of all edits should also provide an improved overview and troubleshooting.

Content management

The Visual Content Manager from Hyvä will replace the Magento PageBuilder in the future, as it enables many useful functions, such as the live preview. However, it not only improves the creation and editing of content, but also ensures a better structure and an ideal user experience by improving the presentation of goods in different categories.
