Magento Shop Upgrade with Hyvä Theme for CW-Mobile

By implementing pagespeed optimization techniques based on the Hyvä theme, we have achieved a significant improvement in loading times and thus significantly increased the user experience and conversion rates.
Magento 2.4 upgrade for better performance:
With the upgrade from Magento 1.9.x to Magento 2.4.5, we have updated the CW-Mobile online store to the latest version of the popular e-commerce system. Magento 2.4 offers numerous improvements in terms of performance, security and functionality and is based on PHP8.x. The update enabled us to integrate the latest features and improvements into the store and create a solid technical basis for future extensions and upgrades.
Significant improvement in loading times with Hyvä Theme:
To further optimize loading times, we implemented the Hyvä Theme, a modern, powerful and flexible template engine for Magento.
The Hyvä theme is characterized by a modern architecture and an optimized code structure, resulting in faster loading times and an improved user experience. One of the core features of the Hyvä theme is the strong reduction of JavaScript. By using full page caching and other page speed optimization techniques based on the Hyvä theme, we were able to reduce the loading time of the CW mobile store by 46.20% and keep the average loading time consistently below 2.5 seconds - which is considered by Google to be the recommended loading time for a good user experience.
More users, more conversions
The improvement in loading times and the user experience have led to an increase in the number of visitors to the CW Mobile website. The faster loading time attracts more users and leads to a higher dwell time on the website. In addition, the improved user experience has led to a higher conversion rate, as users are more likely to stay on the site, search for products and ultimately make a purchase. The combination of the Magento 2.4 upgrade and the Hyvä theme has led to a significant increase in sales and customer retention for CW-Mobile.
Hyvä Checkout - Simply even faster
With the new Hyvä checkout process for Magento, CW-Movile has implemented the perfect solution for a fast and user-friendly checkout experience for customers. The process is divided into several steps and offers numerous functions such as automatic shipping cost calculation, integration of currencies,private and business customers and guest checkout.
As part of the development of the Magento store, the payment methods prepayment, PayPal (incl. Paypal Express), credit card via Stripe and even ApplePay were integrated.
